MY BACKGROUND

I have been operating digital presses in Johnson County, Kansas, since 2015.

Starting with no experience, I built a sturdy foundation of knowledge for operating and troubleshooting printers and for creating high quality commercial prints.

I pride myself on leading technical, creative, and math-based solutions to practical challenges that arise during the production process.

MY SKILLS

Problem Solving

I tackle unique challenges in print and finishing daily with creative uses of machinery and with collaborative innovation and the help of team members.

Documentation

I document processes, special project details, machine maintenance, and supply order history to strengthen and empower the team's knowledge base.

Workflow Management

Collaborating with team members, I prioritize projects according to customer needs and production capacity, often with the use of EFI Printsmith Vision.

Communication

Leading and clarifying with verbal and written skills begins with an emphasis on valuing understanding. My strongest communication skill is writing.

Digital Press Operation

I operate digital sheet-feed presses from manufacturers Ricoh and Konica Minolta, specifically Ricohs C7100 and 8210, KMs C6085 and 1070.

Quality & Color Management

With resources such as ICC profiles, a spectrophotometer, and spot color libraries, I measure, monitor, and validate print devices' color output in pursuit of maintaining print quality.

Imposition

Using EFI Fiery Command Workstation features including Impose and JobMaster, I put files through their final stages of preparation for print, with special attention paid to simplifying finishing.

Paper Inventory Management

I maintain a paper supply inventory and anticipate general supply needs to satisfy quality standards and minimize production delays.

I was born and raised in Wichita, KS. I live with two cats in Kansas City, MO.

For fun, I journal, write letters, and send snail mail. I collect stationery including postcards, fountain pens and ink, rubber and acrylic stamps, and stickers.

When practical, I enjoy riding my personal electric kick scooter or taking public transit to get around town as an alternative to driving my car.
